Delete your IronScript account
Last updated 24 September 2026
This page is for IronScript, the training, nutrition and mood tracker on Google Play and at ironscript.dev. It explains how to delete your account and everything linked to it, and what is kept afterwards.
Option 1: in the app
- Open IronScript and go to Settings.
- Scroll to Data and privacy.
- Tap Delete account, type DELETE and confirm.
Your account and its data are deleted after billing cancellation succeeds. Polar subscriptions are canceled, and Google Play renewals are stopped. Google Play access continues until the end of the period already paid for. Polar subscriptions are canceled immediately.
Option 2: on the web, without the app
You do not need the Android app installed. Open ironscript.dev/app in any browser, sign in with the same Google account you use in the app, and follow the same steps as above.
Option 3: by email
Cannot sign in anymore? Email support@ironscript.dev from the email address of your account, with the subject "Delete my IronScript account". I delete the account and all its data within 30 days and reply to confirm.
What is deleted
- Your login and account.
- Workouts, workout history, routines, timers, activity, body weight, mood check ins and settings.
- Nutrition: food schedules and logs, supplements, drinks and bottle feeds, including the people you track.
- Social: your friends list, friend requests, what you shared with friends together with its reactions and comments, your public profile, handle and follow connections, and your share links.
- The push notification registration for your devices.
- Your IronScript Pro subscription records and provider links.
What is kept
- A trial record: a one way hash of your email address and the date your free trial started, so a trial cannot be restarted. It holds nothing else and is kept indefinitely.
- Payment records at Polar, the merchant of record, such as invoices and the email address they were sent to. Polar keeps these for as long as tax law requires, under the Polar privacy policy.
- Payment records held by Google Play under its own retention rules and Google privacy policy.
- For 60 days, a hashed Play purchase reference and random billing identifier are kept to prevent a deleted purchase from being linked to another account. They are then removed.
- Reactions and comments you left on a friend's shared workout stay on their post until they remove it.
- Usage statistics in Google Analytics, which are not linked to your account and expire under the Analytics retention settings.
Data that only lives on a device, because you never signed in or used offline mode, is removed when you delete the app or clear your browser data.
Delete some data, not your account
You can remove single items, such as a workout, a food entry or a mood check in, from inside the app at any time. To keep a copy first, open Settings, then Data and privacy, and export your data.
